Our 50th Reunion, etc.
Maybe you were one of the 40 classmates (and dozen accompanying spouses) who made the party last May. Or perhaps the trip to the Brookside Country Club in Florham Park was just too far out-of-range for you.
Either way, our new 50th Reunion webpage has gathered pictures and videos of the event, along with our morning-after ramble through the halls of VHS, and our subsequent march to the heart of downtown Verona.
The "Artifacts" section of this site has some new goodies for you, too. Not only can you dive into the events of our VHS years via issues of The Fairviewer from 1965-68, but you can venture even further through the Wayback Machine to The Whitehorne News, chronicling our 8th Grade escapades in the spring of 1964. (Beatlemania, anyone?)
New in the Photo Gallery are a few pix from distant classmates who were unable to attend the reunion, but who wanted to be remembered to all of you.

A melancholy farewell to our classmate Chuck Riley, whose many talents included stage performances with the Montclair Operetta Company. We also remember him as a damn fine right-handed pitcher.

One last thing... This website was created as a haven for us from Facebook, making it safer for us to post our pictures and exchanges without them being harvested.
Our "Comments" page continues to be a safe place for us to plan get-togethers or just tell stories about what we did in Verona and what we're up to now. Nobody seems to go there but us, so I hope you'll feel free to add your words to our VHS conversation.
As always, if you've got ideas to make this website better, please let me know.
Thanks...
